In 2010 I was very excited to be spending a month in Colorado doing back to back art shows. I designed Rodeo Joe specifically with this trip in mind.
I used the familiar head form of my 2 Farmers, but wanted something more meaningful in the head space that would symbolize Colorado. I loved the fun kicky feel of this cowboy. The piece later morphed again into the sculpture A Good Idea.
Once again, this sculpture is a good definition of artwork that has an emotional pull on clients.
